The 2003 Founder’s Reserve Meritage incorporates Merlot (33%) for soft, attractive fruit and rich opulent texture, Cabernet Franc (33%) for layered aromatics and structure, and Cabernet Sauvignon (33%) for black fruit character, colour and robust tannins. The resulting wine is exceptionally appealing and can be cellared for up to and beyond 10 years and is a wonderful pairing with red meat, game and rich cheeses.
