Soft and smooth on the palate, this wine has flavours and aromas of tropical fruit, vanilla, with just a trace of butter and a toastiness derived from the oak barrels themselves, and highlighted by hints of pear, fig and melon. Harvested at just over 21 Brix from our own farm, this wine, while drinkable now, would benefit from laying down for a year from the point at which it was bottled.
